Операцијата на Дидие Куш успешно завршена

Switzerland's Didier Cuche underwent a successful surgery this morning at
Zurich in the Schulthess Clinic where Dr. Med. Stephan F. Schindele, an
established expert in that field, took care of his broken right thumb.

The Swiss Ski Federation issued a press release to explain that this surgery
made in the morning went through well and that there were not other complications found around that injured thumb.

Cuche broke the middle bone of his right thumb in a crash at Kranjska Gora,
Slovenia, while fighting for a podium finish during his second giant slalom run.
The doctor put a small plate made of titanium and seven screws on that finger that needs now to fully rest a few days.

The Swiss veteran has also been treated at some ligaments at his left knee slightly strained during that fall.

Within a week, Cuche should be able to start again with light physical training at home prior flying to Canada in ten days.
